Go to wikipedia.org and search for your hometown (you may have to add the state or country). Starting with the first link, count links in order to the number you wrote down.

Shout out and write down your home town and the word that is linked.

Set a 13 minute timer at www.google.com and collect 13 examples that exemplify your hometown and the word you selected from flickr.com

Select the numbered image that corresponds with the random number you chose

Type your town into the Search bar at atlasobscura.com. Click the link for the article that best matches your numbered image (PLACES, FOOD or STORIES).

Take a 10 minute break

Type in the name of your hometown in the Search box at colourlovers.com. Find the palette that best complements the image from the Atlas Obscura article. Write down the name and number of views for that palette.

If the number of views is more than 1 digit, circle the first digit.

Choose the continent of your hometown at usf.edu. Click on your country (and state or region if available). Then select the link that corresponds to the number you circled above.

Capture the map and write down the year it was made.

Visit publicdomainreview.org and click on Collections. Scroll down to Browse by Time. Choose the century that corresponds to the date your map was made. i.e. 20th = 1900s, 19th = 1800s, 18th = 1700s, 17th = 1600s…

Click on Content. Think about a photo you have taken in or near your hometown. Look at the photos on your phone, if available, before making a decision. Or, try to remember the last photo you took in your hometown. What word under Content best matches the photo?

Click on MAP at newseum.org. Find your hometown or the nearest dot to your hometown and click on the paper for today. Write down one headline and the weather forecast, if available.

Type in the name of your hometown at worldweatheronline.org. Write down the temperature right now. The temp will be in celsius.

Convert degrees from Celsius to Fahrenheit at almanac.com. Convert degrees from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Take that number and imagine someone gave you that amount of money in dollars. What would you buy for lunch in your hometown? Describe what you would eat in 1-2 sentences.

Create and print a, 11" x 17" poster that incorporates all the items you collected. The headline will be the name of your hometown. Establish appropriate hierarchy and flow for each item.
